Skills Finland organises an international seminar in Kuopio 4th of May 2011. Seminar will be held in conjunction to Finnish national skills competition, Taitaja2011. Seminar is free of entrance.

The benefi ts of vocational skills competitions are manifold and widely recognised. In many European countries special efforts are being made in order to utilize the competitions as a tool of developing vocational education and training, and excellent results have already been achieved. The purpose of this seminar is to exchange these experiences and to get new ideas for further co-operation.

The seminar will be organized by Skills Finland in cooperation with its’ European partner organisations and is mainly targeted for vocational teachers, principals and
representatives from working life and VET administration, as well as for all those interested in VET and skills competitions.

We warmly welcome you all, both from Finland and other countries to Kuopio and to participate in this seminar.
